Before Time, You Were Known Before you were born, before the foundations of the earth were laid, God already knew you. You were not a product of chance or circumstance—you are a manifestation of eternal intent. Your calling, your purpose, your assignments—they were all written in His divine manuscript. As Psalm 139:16 (NIV) declares: “Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.” Your Existence Is Not an Accident This means that your existence is not defined by your environment, your family background, or societal validation. You are the evidence of God’s eternal decision made in the timeless realm of His sovereignty. Just like Jeremiah, God says of you: “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born, I set you apart; I appointed you.” (Jeremiah 1:5) God Exists Beyond Time God operates outside of time—He is the Alpha and Omega (Revelation 22:13). Time is a created realm, a container in which the eternal unfolds. God places us into time to manifest what was already established outside of time. This is why destiny is not something we create; it is something we discover and align with. Identity Begins in God Many struggle with identity because they try to find their purpose through worldly standards—education, achievements, relationships—but true identity is revealed when you reconnect with your origin in God. Ephesians 1:4 tells us: “For He chose us in Him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in His sight.” Before you had a name, He called you. Before you were formed, He formed your function. You Are Not an Accident—You Are a Plan In a generation where many feel like accidents—conceived out of wedlock, born into broken homes, or abandoned at birth—this truth is liberating: God had a plan even before people did. Man may call your birth unplanned, but God calls it predestined. As Romans 8:29-30 puts it: “For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son and whom He predestined, these He also called.” You Are Here on Assignment You are here on assignment. Your life is not yours to waste. The enemy’s greatest attack is often not on your now but on your future, because he senses the weight of your eternal script. That’s why some of the most anointed individuals face warfare from the womb—because hell can detect destiny. What God Has Written Cannot Be Erased But take heart—no amount of delay, detour, or disappointment can cancel what God has authored. Isaiah 46:10 (NLT) says: “Only I can tell you the future before it even happens. Everything I plan will come to pass, for I do whatever I wish.” Walk in Awareness of Your Destiny This is why you must walk with spiritual awareness. You’re not just trying to “make it in life”—you’re walking out a destiny that was written before time began. And because God wrote it, He is also committed to performing it. Philippians 1:6 reminds us: “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” Proclaimed in Heaven Embrace your origin in God. Before your name was whispered by your parents, it was proclaimed in heaven. You are here on purpose, for a purpose, and by divine purpose.
