UNCONFESSED SIN.

Many of us we have prayed and seen not because of unconfessed sins let us look at {1John 1:8-9}, if we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. But most of us hide our sins yet he is able to forgive us.

Sometime later, Jesus went up to Jerusalem for one of the Jewish festivals. Now there is in Jerusalem near the Sheep Gate a pool, which in Aramaic is called Bethesda and which is surrounded by five covered colonnades.  Here a great number of disabled people used to lie—the blind, the lame, and the paralyzed. One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years 38yr{John 5:1-14}.

When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” “Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred, “the eagles could help him but because of unconfessed sin the eagles could not because they get the instructions from the Lord.” Sin can hinder you from seeing the hand of God, this man had stayed thirty eight years because of the hidden and unconfessed sin. Do you believe me?

Verses 14, Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” meaning this man had a sin he had hidden for 38 years and he had exposed and confessed the eagles would have helped him out because eagles are our serving spirits or monitoring spirits {Hebrews 1:14}

Through prophet Isaiah, surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear.  But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden his face from you, so that he will not hear. For your hands are stained with blood, your fingers with guilt. Your lips have spoken falsely, and your tongue mutters wicked things {Isaiah 59:1-3}

Whoever conceals their sins does not prosper, but the one who confesses and renounces them finds mercy {proverbs 28:13} and verse 14 says,” Blessed is the one who always trembles before God, but whoever hardens their heart falls into trouble.

1, So many powerful men & women of God your there but still committing adultery & fornication please confess and repent

2, I am talking to you man of God stop masturbating and confess God will help you.

3, Lust is you problem every woman you see in church lust arose but it’s not Godly confess

4, The spirit of mammon is possessing your life please confess and God will set you free.

5, Brother you’re there but drinking alcohol is still a problem you even hide and take a bottle, “The Lord says, I’ll take whatever you’re willing to give me.” Because I know that if you walk out that door, you’re going to be the happiest on this planet earth. But funny enough you know your problem but you not release it.

Your prophets have seen for you false and deceptive visions; they have not exposed your iniquity to restore your fortunes, but have seen for you oracles that are false and misleading {Lamentation 2:14}

So many of us we cannot recognize that we were conceived in sin, but listen to what David confessed, "Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, and in sin did my mother conceive me {psalms 51:5}." What about you?

Be ready to confess hidden errors, but who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults. That was King David who realized that there could even be hidden sins working inside him {psalms 19:12}

Confession heals, confession justifies, confession grants pardon of sin, all hope consists in confession, in confession there is a chance for mercy.

Lastly ask God to create a new heart in you and let this be your prayer after confessing, Cleanse me with hyssop, and I will be clean; wash me, and I will be whiter than snow. Let me hear joy and gladness; let the bones you have crushed rejoice. Hide your face from my sins and blot out all my iniquity.  Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me from your presence or take your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of your salvation and grant me a willing spirit, to sustain me.
