WATCH ONE

6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Time for divine beginnings – {Gen. 1:5, 8}, God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. You remember it was dark in the beginning and we also see verse 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day. See how time is valued here.

It’s very important to posse the gates, a manifestation of the fatherhood of God is recorded here, “God said in Mathew 16:16-19 that the thing you must possess is the GATES, and one of the keys we need to possess the gates is the key of the knowledge of TIME. Our day has a gate, our week has a gate, our month has a gate and our year has a gate. We must possess these gates because whoever possesses the gates possesses and controls everything. The very first watch is the gate for the beginning of the new day. This is why you see Muslims becoming richer and richer it’s because they possess these gates of the day and night.

It's written Exodus 27:21, “ In the tent of meeting, outside the curtain that shields the ark of the covenant law, Aaron and his sons are to keep the lamps burning before the Lord from evening till morning. This is to be a lasting ordinance among the Israelite's for the generations to come. It’s not Aaron now but you the generations to come you must keep the lamps burning.

In a time of quiet reflection, Jesus used the Evening Watch to go aside and pray {Matthew 14:15-23}. After the business of the day is a time to release anxieties to the Lord before going to sleep. This is a time to meditate on God’s Word. Meditation quiets our emotions, realigns our mind, and frees our will to do the will of God. What we could not hear clearly in the day, we begin to hear during this time. During this watch, ask God to give you clear directions for the next day and about His call on your life

Whatever happens during the day is largely determined by what is done during the night watches. The evening time span is the beginning of all the watches. Intercessors can strategically command the enemies of God and stand in the gap and prevent the kingdom of darkness from releasing curses in and on their new days and humanity by dismantling the high places that the enemy has set up over regions.” Praise be to our Lord Jesus for the 4 years of our ministry our player altar has never ceased prayers from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM.”

Watch one is a time span or a period of meditation, quiet reflection, and renewal with the Holy Spirit. Minds are transformed and decisions are made during this period. Decrees, strategic prayers, and judgments with the Holy Spirit's leading are pronounced upon those in the occult before they begin their active sorcery starting at the midnight watch. God strengthens His people during this watch and reveals His Fatherhood and renewing His covenant with them.” Psalms 119:148, my eyes stay open through the watches of the night that I may meditate on your promises.

Period for covenant renewal with God, Through Jesus Christ, we have a Covenant with God. In this watch, we can ask God to manifest the blessings of His Covenant into our lives.

The time for Intercession involves reminding God of his word “covenant”, it was written {Genesis 9:15-16}, “will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” 

It’s written {Exodus 2:24}, “God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob.” {Leviticus 26:42-45}, I will remember my covenant with Jacob and my covenant with Isaac and my covenant with Abraham, and I will remember the land. For the land will be deserted by them and will enjoy its Sabbaths while it lies desolate without them. They will pay for their sins because they rejected my laws and abhorred my decrees. Yet despite this, when they are in the land of their enemies, I will not reject them or abhor them so as to destroy them completely, breaking my covenant with them. I am the Lord their God. But for their sake, I will remember the covenant with their ancestors whom I brought out of Egypt in the sight of the nations to be their God. I am the Lord.” 

It’s a time for healing, Jesus also healed many sick people during this time {Mark 1:32 & Luke 4:40}. This watch is usually for those who have a strong apostolic calling and anointing to break strongholds and walls. This watch is for seasoned Christians who are determined to do mighty things with boldness in the Lord.

This is also a time to release judgment on the wicked and decree into the new day God’s blessings upon our life, family, church, city, and nation.

Decrees and Strategic Prayers Points:

Enter His gates with a song of thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, bless and praise His name {psalms 100:4}

1, It’s advisable to Pray in the Holy Spirit "tongues"

2, Pray in alignment with what the Holy Spirit is revealing to you at the moment on this watch

3, Pray for clarity regarding the upcoming new day and His call upon your life

4, Decree that you are God's child and His words are what sustain you in every situation
