WHAT DO YOU SEE?
What do you see? What is your attitude towards God’s promises? Do you have faith?
Jesus is really but the problem is your attitude which beats your faith yet we have to please God with our faith, When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralyzed man, “Son, your sins are forgiven.”{Mark 2:5}
You see, you don’t get what you pray for. You get what you believe you receive when you pray. Jesus said, “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” {Mark 11:24}
Beloved, “whatever things” cover your every need. And believing that you receive them comes before having them. Jesus once told a centurion, “Go your way; and as you have believed, so let it be done for you.” The centurion’s servant was healed that same hour see {Matthew 8:13}. The centurion believed that he received his miracle even before he saw it in the natural.
So when you pray, what do you elieve and see on the inside? “Well, Pastor Denis K, I really can’t see it.” Then don’t pray. Change your attitude on the inside first. Start seeing yourself with the answer. See yourself healed. See yourself living in the bigger house that you need. See yourself enjoying more than enough. When you can see it and believe it, then pray in faith, and you will have whatever you ask for!
It was one Sunday when God called me to watch a certain TV channel and what was there was a wedding, it took me something like 10 minutes then God whispered in my ears Denis your wedding will be on that date same month next year I believed and things started happening, by that time I did not have any single coin on me.
In another account, when Jesus needed time alone with His Father to pray He sent His disciples away on the sea in a ship. By the time Jesus returned the ship was in the middle of a storm on the water and so Jesus walked on the water to get to the ship. When the disciples saw Him they thought he was a ghost and they were frightened. Jesus called out to assure them that it was He. Peter was unsure that it really was Jesus and asked Jesus to prove it to him by allowing Peter to walk on the water as well. Peter did walk on the water until he allowed the wind and the rain to interfere with his faith. His doubt made him sink only to be rescued by his Savior and Lord. Jesus spoke these words to Peter You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?” {Mathew 14:30-31}
Faith is central or vital to the Christian life. Without faith, we cannot please God, we can move mountains! Through faith, we accomplish everything from the ordinary to the impossible.
Faith is the measure of your confidence in God.” Faith is the noun form of words like “believe” and “trust. “The Christian life begins with faith and lives by it daily. Through faith, we are saved, sanctified, and serve.
Noah, God told Noah to build an ark to save his family and the animals. Why? Rain and floods would overtake the Earth killing all that was not in the ark. There was only one problem. It had never rained! Oh what did Noah saw and what was his attitude towards this divine call? Noah believed in the word of God, put away all the doubts and shame embarking on God’s call {Genesis 6:1-22}
Noah believed God and saved His family, your faith can save your family, and as well what do you see? Do you think you can stop them from talking about how you’re becoming mad how you’re becoming a shame in the family?
Abraham “By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, By faith, he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God {Genesis 12:1-12} what do you see in the righteous journey your taking? Do you think all of Abraham’s friends talked to God about him?
By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son, Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall thy seed be called: Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from whence also he received him in a figure.” {Hebrews 11:17-19}
By faith Moses, when he was born, was hidden three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king’s commandment. By faith Moses, when he came to years, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter; Choosing rather suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season; Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the repayment of the reward.” {Hebrews 11:23–26}
Rahab was a harlot. Yes, that means what you think it means. She was a wicked woman who sold her body for gain. Yet, in a moment, she changed the direction of her life and legacy through faith. Joshua chapter two relates how she helped the spies of Israel escape in exchange for the lives of her family. “Can you turn your darkness into light?”
Faith changed her life and her family’s destiny. Today, she is known for her faith rather than her old profession. Faith can change your life for the better! Regardless of your past, a moment of sincere faith can alter your direction and change your destiny! Never lose focus have your spiritual eyes opened, it took Rahab a few hours to realize that it was her visitation where she had to choose life or death.
Jephtha is an interesting addition to the Hall of Faith. He was the bastard son of an Israelite who had been exiled that was called upon to deliver the people from the Ammonites. He was a hard man who made bad decisions. He even sacrificed his daughter to keep a vow. Yet, the Bible is not putting a stamp of approval on every action. God commends His faith. It was faith in God that empowered and encouraged Jephtha to fight the battle. Faith can be exercised by any who will believe in God. You can read the account of Jephtha in Judges Chapters 11 and 12.
David’s storied life displays the mountains and valleys of the faith life. He accomplished the impossible, lived through the unbearable, did the unthinkable, and trusted God through it all. The Book of Psalms gives us an intimate look into the heart of faith. You can read about David’s life in 1 2 Samuel and 1 Chronicle
It’s not about your figure, your beauty, the family where you come from but it’s about changing your attitude and having faith when it comes to God’s promises. During my wedding meetings, I used to have 4-5 people in the meeting but inside me, I was roughing and people did not know, he was whispering to me Denis your wedding is done.
In the meeting of 4-5 people, I used to move out with 400,000/= to 500,000/= till he made it, two months caring my meetings without informing the family because they were speaking failure and such people we have them but focus on God’s promise
Likewise in ministry people are going to speak failure but what do you see sister and brother? What is God saying about you? I have realized it’s about believing in God and selling your soul to him or offering yourself to him as a living sacrifice that will make a change in your life.
